About FBLA
FBLA Mission Statement is to “inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.”
As one of the largest chapters in Georgia, Alpharetta FBLA strives to achieve this through our combination of community services, business skill teaching, and networking opportunities. We believe our job is to produce the next generation of community-minded business leaders with the skills to thrive in whatever professional career they pursue. In this mission, we open opportunities for our members to participate in community service activities in the Alpharetta community to learn the importance of community in the context of business. The community lays the foundation for all the people and businesses in our area, and it is our duty to give back to all those who have given to us.
We continue to push our members to grow more every year providing new avenues to learn about business skills, whether it be at the National Leadership Conference or at our chapter meetings, Alpharetta FBLA helps our members learn the skills that prepare them for their professional lives.
In competition, Alpharetta FBLA has won the Georgia FBLA Sweepstakes Award, given to the chapter that performs the best in the competitive events, 9 years running. Led by our advisers, we set up our students for success by providing resources they can use to prepare themselves to succeed. Maybe we’ll see you step on stage at the National Leadership Conference!
However, as a chapter, we are most proud of the young people our members become as they learn and grow across years of membership and competition. Business skills are not simply based around success, we hope that our members learn the value of becoming a great person before becoming a great businessperson. We are proud of the people in our organization and as we continue to support our members we are excited to see what they will do!
